Andrew Shpakov is a finance and public policy professional. He is now a CEO of EasyBusiness, where he provides policy advice and complex analytical services to governments, investors, and private firms. After he completed a strategic merger between EasyBusiness and CIVITTA, Andrew also serves as BDO of CIVITTA, a leading management consulting firm in Eastern Europe, where he engages in strategic and financial advisory projects serving leading industry players, private equity firms and international organizations in CEE region. At Diligent Capital Partners, a mid-size private equity firm, Andrew participated in fundraising and origination activities covering agribusiness, consumer goods, and real estate sectors. Within his work for the Ukrainian government, Andrew served as Advisory Team Member on Business Climate Improvement at Ministry of Economy designing the national deregulation strategy and action plan aimed at improvement of Ukraine’s positions within World Bank’s Doing Business ranking. He delivered speeches on the progress of Ukrainian reforms at venues from Kyiv to New York while being featured on Forbes, Voice of America and Ukraine’s national TV and radio stations. Prior to his public policy engagement, Mr. Shpakov oversaw financial analysis and reporting functions at several multinational companies. He received MSc in Finance from the National Agricultural University of Ukraine and fluently speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
